Powell Amenities

Lounge Spaces

Patrons can enjoy lounge areas throughout the Powell Student Center. We offer a variety of options for studying or relaxing between classes.

Spaces are all equipt with EKU WiFi and outlets for mobile devises. There are also phone charging stations mounted around the building for your convenience. 

Outdoor Seating

Visitors to Powell can enjoy outdoor balcony spaces on the 2nd floor when the weather is nice. These spaces offer a great view while studying or relaxing. 

Additionally, visitors can utilize outdoor seating located outside the ground and 1st floors.

Posting Areas

Powell has posting boards for EKU and general posting. These boards can be used to advertise upcoming events, departments, etc. in accordance with EKU's Posting Policy. 

Game Room

The Game Room is open! 

We have the following available during building hours:

• Arcade Machine
• Ping Pong

We have the following available M-F 8am-4:30pm in the Student Life Office (Powell 152):
