Powell Student Center

Welcome to the Powell Student Center! Home to Student Life & First-Year Experience, the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, Military & Veterans Affairs, US Bank, Starbucks, spaciaous lounge spaces, and more, Powell offers a variety of ways for you to get involved on campus.

Non-RSO groups looking to reserve Powell will need to reach out to EKU Conferencing & Events.

Students are not permited to gather in the Powell Student Center in large groups, but can use socially distanced single study areas on the middle floor. 

Please check back for updated hours regularly, as they are subject to change with new EKU, state, and national policies in relation to the pandemic.  

Election Day Hours (Nov. 3rd):

1st & 2nd Floors and EKU Offices: Closed

Ground Floor: 7am-9pm

-Barnes & Noble @ EKU: 8am-5pm

-Mail Services: 8am-5pm

-Starbucks: 7am-9pm

-US Bank: Closed

Monday-Thursday: 7am-10pm

Friday: 7am-5pm 

Saturday: Closed

Sunday: Closed

Reservable Spaces for RSOs 

Monday-Thursday: 4:45pm-9:45pm (click here to learn more about specific time blocks and to reserve a space)

Friday: 8:15am-4:45pm (click here to learn more about specific time blocks and to reserve a space)
